Originally from Southern California, I live in Philadelphia. I have an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte and am a Professor (Teaching/Instruction) of writing at Temple University. I'm the author of two Philadelphia-set novels: Regret (2007) and The Intersection (2016). My new book--The Queer Coming of Age Film Genre, was released in 2024. My short stories have appeared in The Baltimore Review, Santa Fe Writer’s Project Journal, Ray’s Road Review, Northern Liberties Review, DOAB, and Jonathan.
